He ran because he was afraid, law enforcement officials are not always the same in other countries. It probably was just an instinctive reaction to him, the poor man.

I'm flashing back to an old 80's movie: "Red Dawn." A group of high school kids watches the Russians land in their country and start killing people. They escape to the mountains and then stock up on ammo and guns and begin methodically wiping out said Russians. Bravo!!!

It's an interesting hypothetical question, and I have to go with nvalleyvee, I'd be on my roof picking off the bastards from 100 yards.

Who would they go for first? Who knows? They believe we are evil to the core and have no compunction about killing themselves, not to mention us heathens, I think they would try to wipe out whomever they came across first and work their way out.

Seriously, Far, is there anything more therapeutic than spending a day at the range, (especially an outdoor range, where you can fire any weapon you want to) where you blast the snot out of cans, targets, gatorade bottles, tree stumps, and logs?

We have a friend who has a range built right on their 12 acres, and we can spend hours upon hours shooting. The kids enjoy it, too.

Just my observation but I didn't get the slightest hint of anyone being "scared". Sounds like they should think twice before they try to take over an armed country.

i have never fired a hand gun. i am pretty handy with a shotgun.

but my speciality is my GrandDad's receipe for dynamite. he used to make it all the time when my dad was a kid. I helped a few times as a teen before he passed. great for blasting tree stumps, boulders, log jams, etc

so shouldn't be too hard to apply to vehicles, roads, and tents.

Reading their points of view from such different perspectives makes me wonder how we have made it as long as we have without major upheaval within our boarders. They point out great vulnerability and internal strife. It makes me wonder what keeps the U.S. from coming unglued and collapsing under its own weight.
