These are picture of our youngest grandson taken today after he returned from the Hospital , he looks a picture of health , Daniel is three next week but he is suffering from a rare condition known as Black Fan Diamond anemia ( 600 world wide) his blood does not produce enough Red cells , for 18 months he had to have transfusions every month , last August they put him on Steroids and has had no transfusions since he is such a happy little boy and never complains .

When he went in to hospital he had a Red cell count of 2.5 and when he is introduced to other doctors they tell them that this is the little boy who walked into hospital when with a blood count so low he should have been in a coma
