I am now a Senior Member (No laughing from you Brits and Irishers). It appears

to be because I've made 100 posts. I could have done this by contributing only

to the "Word Association" thread. Has this concept of "Seniority" any value?

Thanks - although I was asking whether the concept of "Seniority" is useful to

the forum, whether it's meaningful in such a context - not whether it's actually

of any value to me personally. Comments? FGAdmin? Anyone?

Congrats Bill! Posting in the word association area is valid. I do! :)

The senior member moniker is kind of standard. I just lets others know that you participate and have been around for a little while.

Good morning everyone! (At least morning here....)

Bill,

We believe in respecting our elders...I mean our seniors. :)

Actually, these little titles signify that you have been a valuable contributor and that you have reached an arbitrary threshold set by us.

Since FG is still less than a month old, we are still modifying and tweaking certain parameters. As the membership continues to grow and the participation continues to gain steam, we will add different (and hopefully) amusing titles as our early members hit 1000, 2000, 5000, and 10,000 posts.
