Sporadic?

Maybe one film a year and I’ll see maybe half of that.

Do you fall asleep?

That's still far more preferable than someone who won't shut up with their running commentary.

No, I’m doing other things at the same time ‘cos I get bored with the film.

That last comment sounds heart felt :-)

Watching anything with the youngest makes me want to reach for the duct tape. Nearing the end of The Martian, the songs are good but I'm not allowed to sing along

I get absorbed, and enjoy it, unless the plot gets too drifty, then I get bored and walk away.

I disapprove of fiction.

And biopics.

Documentaries are sometimes tolerable.

An occasional Bio-Pic is OK. But Fiction, for me, makes the best movies.
I really enjoy the old 30's and 40's era Swashbucklers.

He still loves that film and I still can't sing along to it.

I've just watched The Father. Heartbreaking and confusing. It's meant to be confusing.

I'm still hanging out to see the "Banished " series but they say they will never show it in this country. Not even on Netflix

I was going to ask one of you if you could send it to me.

I love the Errol Flynn swashbucklers. The Seahawk. Capetian Blood. Pretty much all old movies.

I liked the novels they were adapted from. Both were written by Raphael Sabatini, but I bet your local library hasn't got a copy any more.
