I'm certain it's a grease type clog. Any suggestions besides snaking it?

This stuff is supposed to work great. Sister-in-law swears by it.

Pour it in a let it sit overnight.
might take a couple of repeats to clear up a clog.
We use Dawn dish soap and never see a kitchen grease clog.

Here we'd use concentrated sodium hydroxide, caustic soda, does the job a treat.

Due to the very shallow incline of the pipes in my place, as well as the narrow gauge of the pipes I have an ongoing problem with blockages. I've tried regular plungers, snakes & unblocking chemicals, but nothing works. More recently, however, I bought myself a Drainbuster. It works wonders.

Nasty stuff I agree but that's what they sell here as drain unblocker (and oven cleaner).

There is a difference between a blocked drain, and a slow drain.
I have ever avoided caustics for drain clearing. When I was a boy, a friend of my parents, whom they had know since high school, was blinded by a back flash of some caustic he was trying to clear a drain with, and his story stuck with me.
A slow drain can best be clear by using a simple de-greasing product and some patience. Of coarse, if hair is the culprit, there may be no other choice than to send a rooter down to pull the hair out.
The hardware stores have a plastic device called a drain stick:
Superior® Drain Stick (03819) - Specialty Pipe / Tube Tools - Ace Hardware
it can be very useful for removing hair from a drain.

Don't put grease down your pipe, that helps.
Seriously, be careful with the caustic chemicals. They can damage plastic or UPVC pipes and erode metal pipes over periods of time.
A more environmentally safe method, is a high grease dissolving, soap based product, and none better, than a good washing up liquid, such as Fairy Concentrate. You may need several applications of squirting a good dose directly down the drain and overflow, but it's thick enough to cling to the sides of the pipe to keep it active for longer.
Good luck.

Very hot water might melt the grease. Pour boiling water down the drain.
