Okay....its a hypothetical question and lets not get bogged down in political personal attacks.

On my way down to melbourne i overheard a comment ..." if i ruled the world, I'd make some changes"...(expletives removed)

Got me thinking....a daunting task ti say the least....but if you solely ruled the world what changes would you make?

Others before us have done it albeit ancient times in their own known worlds....could the aveeage punter do it though?

I could sort it all out, but only if I had magical powers.

I'd set up a rigid succession to make sure my plans are fully implemented instead of someone else's further down the line, and then declare the First Great Galactic Empire.

If I ruled the world, the Gospel would be proclaimed throughout it, but everyone would be free to choose if they want to accept it or not. Christianity would be promoted and favored. Both sides of each issue would be told to it's fullest instead of just the liberal one. Evolution would have to be taught beside Creationism and let the people decide for themselves which they choose to believe, instead of forcing evolution on them and silencing creationists. Equal rights would be just that, equal rights for all, not special rights for any race, such as affirmative action.

If I was in charge, Proselytizing would be outlawed. There would be a region in the world where all religious nutjobs would be dumped and they could all spend their lives trying to convert each other, without bothering normal people.

Same with war. We would have a perpetual war zone, where anyone who wants to commit violence upon others would be banished to fight with all the other warmongers.

In which case, the Creationist Church should have to teach Evolution as well. What's sauce for the Goose is sauce for the Gander & that.

Creation is not science, and should not be taught in Science class. Want to teach it in philosophy class, fine, but it's not science.

Getting a viable self-sustaining colony off-world would be a high priority.

If i ruled the world.....everyone would have an acre of land. Everyone would get a tax deduction if they have a large sustaining vegetable garden a,d poultry. Everyone would be allowed their own goat or go shares in a cow. Granny flats would be encouraged so more than one generation of family could live on the same property. All energy would be sustainable. It would begim with the reinvention of n.ew housing estates, and old housing edtates would be phased out and matierals used/recycled to build the new ones.
