By coincidence, before the internet I was part of an Amateur Press Association which was based in Iowa. Never been there though. Always had the impression the place was dead flat from end to end

HIYA Neighbor!
Most of my experinece in Iowa was back and forth on I-80. I worked for CRST but not directly with Cedar Rapids.
Got that off my chest,

Hello Lizzie, I have been to Iowa, while chatting to a New Yorker and telling him we were going to Iowa next he looked back at us and with a surprised look on his face asked us "Why" ?
And he wasn't the only person to comment like that.
My daughter lives there, don't think I would have bothered otherwise.
