I thought The King of Comedy was a tremendous film and I don't expect it's dated at all. I reckon it was a brave film to have signed up to.

I agree. It was a very good flick. One that can easily be watched over again.

Did they ever find a cure for why he held those telephons every year?

I don't know that they found a cure, but it seems that they have made significant progress in making life better for the victims of the thing.
