Indeed, the news hit just as I was headed out to the spiritualist church service, we've sent love and healing to those involved.
Our poor world is very unsettled at the moment, big changes are needed :-1

I agree BB.
These kinds of acts are becoming all to frequent and all to easy for others to do. My take on it all STOP THE MEDIA. these are all horrific copy cat acts. So very very sad. These are innocent people doing nothing wrong and people are just randomly killing. So very heartless.

The media needs stopping for sure, sick of all the hate stories, it's why I don't read any of them now or listen to the news.

No honour amongst terrorists it seems. The pic of one of the suspects is wrong apparently. The man handed himself in after seeing himsrlf on telly. He believes his own brother had stolen his ID documents.
And freaken Trump.! He really needs gagging

In this case I don't think the Press is to blame. It's the religious fundamentalists who did it, and the evil people who lead them astray, THEY are to blame.
Even if we don't want to read all the details (I haven't and won't unless there's a particular reason I should), we need to know these things are happening. Ignoring this and other frightening issues isn't going to help.
Equally, getting too scared by it isn't the answer either: You've more chance of winning the lottery than being involved in one of these incidents.
But deliberately targeting children as they have been? Well, if there is a God worth worshiping, they're going to burn.

Yes, they definitely need to report it, that's fine, it's the ongoing reporting from the scene asking people over and over again how they felt when it happened and milking it for all it's worth. It's spreading fear in everyone constantly and people are over reacting.
They've done exactly the same thing with stranger danger, do you feel safe nowadays to chat to any child that you may encounter innocently?
I agree its religious fundamentalists too and we are giving them too much glory with the over reporting.

Yeah, fair point - I'd stop and think hard before approaching a child, even to help. Unless it was VERY small and heading into danger. And even then I'd be worried about the reaction. I agree about the endless "How did you feel?" questions from the Press. But there has to be information getting out about this sort of thing, I think.

The media all but tells you how to be a terrorist.
Yes use the media to report, use the media to post pictures and profiles of suspects, but for the love of god stop posting the "exactly how it was done" news. This only glorifies the actions of the killers, this is exactly what they want ... infamy (if I spelled that right) These are copy cat actions, they are successful, and others are following along.

I wonder if they are making any progress in getting the huge international banks to freeze the bank accounts that are financing these terrorist organizations. The last I heard the preliminary investigation was mired in red tape from bank policy, government banking laws in each location, and a lot of other excuses but not much was actually being accomplished.

What disgusts me is the sight of a reporter stuffing a mike under a poor woman's nose - a woman who has obviously just found out that her daughter could be one of the injured victims, and asking the poor woman how she feels !!!!!!!!! What a crass, stupid, thoughtless thing to do !!!! Not that I noticed any such behaviour in this latest terrible mass murder, but I have seen this done in several other incidents.

Probably to you guys this may sound silly..... But I didn't realise that "missing" meant the person is in the morgue and hasn't been identified. I couldn't figure out after the London attack how one of our girls went missing. I thought that you were either lying there or you were dazed and someone would eventually take you to a police station or hospital.... just couldn't figure out the "missing" bit.
but....then the little boy who was killed in this attack was also deemed "missing" ... at first I thought " my god who would still have a boy in their midst without taking him to the proper authorities?" Then it dawned on me. Mother asking for him/ had to be sedated in hospital...dad flying to spain... CRAP! the little tacker is dead.
Just another understanding of new terms we have to get our head around. All this crap goes beyond just a blast/murder and people being maimed. It's penetrating our psych in ways we didn't even realise.
