McDonald’s has apologised for any upset caused by its new TV advert, which has been accused of exploiting childhood bereavement, but refused to stop it from being broadcast.

I thought the advert was cute, clever, no big deal.

Is this PC gone mad yet again ?

Or is it I suspect a clever advertising stunt by McDonalds ?

Where I come from it's generally looked on as bad taste. McDonalds are a cultural wasteland and their morally diseased advertising publicists are on a par with Daily Mail reporters.

But apparently there is a spate of complaints that McDonalds are not withdrawing it, so it's a win win for them.

A spokeswoman for McDonald's said the British advert will be removed from all media this week and it will review its creative process to avoid a repeat.

She wrote - in an apparently now deleted Facebook post - that the jumper was problematic because it perpetuated the stereotype that men can get away with offensive or misogynistic behaviour by using the age-old slogan.

Well done Asda..................advertising for free,to the lady.................get a life, take a chill pill.....and meant to offend.........are you at your troubled time ?

Would she have all such references be removed in all it's various forms throughout history worldwide ?

There are differences between the sexes, and as a rule males are more impetuous and daring.

That is not to say females can't have the same behaviour, only that some things are more common in a particular sex.

Brock Turner has benefited from an extremely bad interpretation of justice, but that has nothing to do with Boys being Boys or the shirt sold in Asda.

The fact is Boys will behave boyishly as Girls will behave girlishly, but rape is not boyish behaviour and the Judge didn't behave as a Judge ought to.
