I hope she's enjoying her retirement and continues to find pleasure in it.
Quite how she views being sampled by 67 in their exploration of what motivates Londoners I'm not sure. For those Americans unfamiliar with this shizzle, 67 is a rap crew collective. They take their name from the dialing code for Brixton Hill and they authenticate their message through historical association. And trap and drill, obviously.
Vera Lynn's achievements are an inspiration.

I wasn't alive during the war and Vera still rouses my nationalistic pride.
(Wonder who this new geezer masquerading as Spot really is ?)

You weren't alive during the war?
Good lord.
As for masquerading, I have always approved of Dame Vera's repertoire and performance.
