Women in football

Of course im referring to Australian rules in this case. ( but when commenting feel free to include other codes)Finally they have begun a female national comp. The pay as expected is a smigeon what the men get , even though the talent is equal.
When i used to watch my son play juniors there was a girl who the boys were a little afraid of ( granted she knew more about football than all the boys being the daughter of an AFL captain ) but it was her stature and poise as a young athlete that impressed most. Im pleased to see other young female athletes take up the flag for sport in general and not just womens sport....... ohh and those who feel the game is not the same or less brutal just because its played by women? Watch some youtube clips ......its not a code that can be watered down.
