I note the transition of President Reagan's First Lady.
I'm aware of nobody before or since who summoned spirits to assist in formulating White House timetabling and policy through divination, she was in a class of her own in that regard. She also knew how to dress flamboyantly and select matching interior decor.

Their marriage was one of the few 'celebrity' marriages that lasted past their golden wedding. RIP Nancy Reagan.

Until it was mentioned on the radio this morning, I had totally forgotten that it was her who gave rise to the phrase "Just Say No", and the ensuing Anti-Drugs campaign.

No bio-degradable wicker box nourishing a tree in a remembrance garden for Mrs Reagan, then. Still fashion-conscious to the last. I bet she was embalmed too, like Cleopatra.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Just Say No is a good line for kids. Not sure you can actually hang the whole "War on Drugs" on that tagline though.
They should have "Just Said, No." to the War on Drugs.
