i don't understand, i'm sorry. FG is a big place - too big, for me at least, to read every thread. does your complaint have something to do with a particular thread, and if so, which one?

i'm at a loss, sorry.

Capt. if u are leaving - please let me tell you how much I liked your posts and enjoyed you --you were insiteful and full of wisdom..also a very good laugh too... I understand if you are going but you will be missed so very much! :-4

if an unknown person is phoning you from the states, i can probably trace it for you. just send me the pertinent information.(do you know how they got your number?)

What happened? I know I've been MIA for a few days with my Mom visiting but would someone please tell me what happened? I'll miss the Capt.

There goes a very intelligent and wonderful man, and our top poster. Anybody got any idea what's up? Well...for me, I've bounced from board to board from time to time, and I still post on one of my very first board... occasionally.

So if you must leave, take a holiday, but realize you'll always have a home here and you'll always be considered one of the family! Please return when you can. :-2

is it someone jealous of Captins humor and wit? is it politically motivated in nature? have to admit this type of tortue is definite grounds for departure. too many p.ms can cause an admirer to turn on you so being kind and friendly is not always good. certainly takes the fun right of it.

just for the record: there is no means by which anyone could have gotten the capt's email address, or phone number, from forumgarden. for one thing, we don't collect phone numbers from signups. we do collect email addresses - but the only way someone can find out what it is, is by sending an email via the 'send email' option, and getting a reply. we don't reveal the email address, the recipient does when he or she replies.

I saw that the Buzz put his yahoo address out there on FG. I didn't see any place to enter a phone number - hacker or invitation is my guess.

I guess many of us don't know what has happened to cause you to leave, but surely you must realize that the majority of FG like and appreciate your posts.

Don't let one or more people be the cause of your leaving.

When i first started in here i remember him posting that he was gonna take a break from the garden. he was pretty fed up with all the bickering and fighting, i thought.

Everyone talked him into staying then, it was supposed to get better in here.

Taking a swipe at someone because you disagree with the veiw they express is one thing. All out wars between members should be private, and participants yanked forcefully from threads if they cannot control themselves. When we feel friendship towards either or both parties involved, we feel compelled to moderate or defend a side.

There should be some moderation of the board to stop all of this crap.

Anymore, i find myself hesitating to post into anything but the games threads for fear of having to take sides in fights that are not mine.

But i think Capt really cares about everyone he knew here. Maybe he just couldn't stand to sit back and watch this place self-destruct any further.


I've gotten some bad reviews from people and I take it as a difference of opinion. It IS a different matter when people PM and tell me I am full of "SH**". Even that I do not care about. He put his yahoo e-mail address out there for anyone to contact him - I did after this thread - in support. He left himself open. I do not know about the phone calls - I am tooooo stupid to hack that.

sad to hear of this trouble. i've been away from the garden for a short while due to life being hectic and i have to say i'll miss ya buzzard. you were the first person to chat with me in the aussie forum.
