First U.S. baby born from ovary transplant!

Baby born Monday night, 15 months after the mother received a
transplant of ovarian tissue from her identical twin sister.
Doctors say this does not open the door to widespread use of
the transplants to cure infertility, because the twin sister was a
perfect match genetically there was no need for anti-rejection
drugs.
New mom Stephanie Yarber of Muscle Shoals, Ala., became pregnant
naturally about 6 months after the transplant without any drug
treatment or further surgery. Her baby girl was born naturally
weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
