Tell her what you told us. I think being straightforward and honest prevents future problems and hurt feelings.

I would NOT be offended if u told me what u just wrote....U just got out of a marriage and started on your own..She will either except it or she won't - and that will just mean she wasn't the one..:) Good Luck - i know its hard to start over..but u can do it..Just to be noisey--has your X moved on yet? U may see a BIG HUGE change in her if she hasn't....Careful..... Happy Dating

second everything else thats been said & wish to point out a lot of us girls dont want a heavy relationship either, be honest from the start, if she's ok with that

just take it one day at a time & dont read too much into unless she starts talking about the future, if or when she does that, a gentle reminder will put her in the position of making her own decision, ive phrased that really badly, i do hope you know what i mean :wah:

I think you should be as honest as you just have been with us. It'd be awful if she met you thinking she could see something long term in you but you have other ideas. Be straight with her and she'll respect you more. You never know...maybe that's all she's looking for aswell? :D

Good luck! ;)

I agree with all of the above, be honest and up front, it can't hurt this early in the relationship. You can't gain anyones confidence if you aren't honest.

I have nothing new to offer, but totally concur with what has already been written here - TALK IT OVER - after all, isn`t one of the biggest grievances between warring couples (I think it came 2nd after `money worries` in a magazine poll over here), "Lack of Communication"?
