It begs the question .....why?
On what grounds are these images worthy to adorn a nations stamps?
I am not questioning the merit or the artistic integrity, just the suitability for the purpose of sticking on stamps.

Finland celebrating Gay Pride. What's wrong with that ?
You need to get out more.

I'm with Bruv here - eroticism, whether gay or not (and certainly not fetishist), is not a suitable subject for postage stamps.

I think it's so cool! & it's not that erotic. As for Page 3 girls, they've been celebrated long enough. I'm no prude but I found the covers of British newspapers to be sexist & gross.
Finland---where's the lesbians? Or is that too Page 3, & every man's fantasy of 2 girls getting it on?

I think we see eroticism everywhere should we be looking. Magazines, posters, books, etc and I don't see any problem with It on stamps.
Considering the bigoted view on homosexuality over the decades, why not celebrate It. The world has acceptance, In most parts of the world, we have moved on for the better. That should be celebrated In my book.

If you have seen the stamps and think it acceptable to see mustacheod face peering at you from between naked buttocks over your corn flakes......so be it.

You are just as likely to see the same or similar Image on a magazine shelf while queuing to buy your ciggs. In fact you'll see far worse Images showing heterosexual couples.
If the world accepts homosexuality and eroticism per say then to place proviso's on homosexuality and eroticism Is harping back to those bigoted decades.

Well you don't have to buy them, and hopefully your friends in Finland will consider your sensitivities when mailing you a letter.

I don't know where you purchase your fags, but most shops place adult mags on the top shelf, they call them 'Top Shelf' mags for that reason.
I have as much problem with heterosexuality as I do with homosexuality when it's erotic art is exhibited in such a manner.
Nothing to do with acceptance of homosexuality, more about a time and a place.

The fact that you can see that same or worse on the magazine shelf is immaterial - images such as that belong on the magazine shelf where those that want to see them can do so.
It is also immaterial whether the eroticism is homo or hetro sexual, stamps have an official function and are quasi cash - eroticism has no place in such a context.
Also, stamps are sent into people's homes without their wish or consent - to put eroticism into that position is wrong.

I would hope that folks who would purchase and use such images, would do so with at least a passing thought towards the people who would receive them.

Positive or negative thoughts?
Given that the postal service cannot second guess the answer they should not give the option.

Do you foresee people unwittingly purchasing these stamps and sticking them on all of their Christmas cards? Or perhaps on a batch of résumés?

Can already do that with your computer. May be a while before they have printer technology that can be put into a smart phone, though.

Also, I have emailed my Finnish co-worker and asked him to acquire a couple of sets for my philatelist nephew.
