Now who's brave enough to come along and say I deserve to be killed because I'm a Christian?

Courage doesn't come in to it not being religious I regard your faith as being yours to follow as you wish. Were I religious god would give me the courage to do what is necessary to save your soul. Besides you are the one that believes everyone else is going to hell you don't exactly have the moral high ground here do you?

The ones killed are they martyrs that will go to heaven?

I don't think hell is a pit of fire like many descriptions, I think it is an absence from God whatever that would be. Actually no one should consider they have the moral high ground over anyone else because none of us are perfect.

This is really a story about Muslim extremists, isn't it? Kind of like the auto-de-fes of the Spanish Inquisition. Controlling another's life by force, fear & death is the story here, not Christianity.

No one should be forced to believe, or be discriminated against for not believing, or punished for it. These types of Muslims are living in the Middle Ages along with these practices.

That's where so many Christians get it wrong, Jesus never forced anybody to do anything, he taught love and forgivness . He was criticized by other religious leaders for associating with people that they thought he shouldn't. Also I agree with you Anne, these Muslim extremists are living in the Middle Ages.

He forced the buyers/sellers out of the Temple.

We definitely need more love & understanding in this world; this idea seemed to die out when the Yuppies moved in. Gimme Gimme Gimme. Me Me Me. I I I.

So are more than a few Christians, unfortunately.

Yes that is one time Jesus showed anger but it was righteous anger, those people were doing something wrong. I was always taught that you should be slow to anger but there are times when you have a right to be angry.
