The red telephone box together with the black taxi and red bus are seen as iconic British symbols throughout the world. At their peak in the 1980s there were over 70,000 red telephone kiosks, but today only about 11,000 survive. I wonder how long it will be before we will have to visit a museum to see one?

Or you could buy one and stick it in your garden ... I believe they cost about 2000 British pounds.
