What has impressed The Chosen?

Well I may be a cabbage but I'm not green. Which translated from Jjspeak means that I am not privy to what happens behind the scenes in The Green Room here at FG.

However I do remember Bryn mentioning a while back that he and his Mods were like taking more of a backseat and not infracting nearly as much as was done in previous years ... or words to that effect.

However I digress. What has impressed me is the way the Site Owner and his crew have handled the latest "storm in a teacup" aka the Front Page of FG.

Whilst the members posted back and forth about the merits or otherwise of having more/less religious dogma around, Bryn and his team have kept a low profile throughout.

So I say: "Well done Team Forum Garden!"

Did I just say that? OMG! I think I must be losing my marbles! :-2

Here on FG mostly I am impressed by the use of simple common sense. I'm impressed by brevity and by earthlings who are not afraid to admit when they are wrong and who say so in plain everyday English.

In real life I'm impressed by earthlings who wear their hearts on their sleeves, who cry when they watch sad movies and who have the ability to listen without wanting to chip in and state their own point of view all the time. But most of all I am impressed by gentle folk who never resort to violence to solve a dispute.

Well Jj, that counts me well and truly out of your 'impressed me' list, with my violent activities at school, and my various other violent thoughts towards the nasties of society.

I do sometimes have wet eyes watching sad films, but I never used to do that until I became a mother ! If there is ever a disagreement between 'outsiders' it has been known for me to step up and try to lighten the situation and maybe get people to laugh !

But I tend not to get involved unless it directly involves my little family !

You're right my Southern Belle ... but its because I've been working on my book.

When I visit here I tend to get caught up in stuff and forget to leave. :-5
