Heads need to roll. Those poor kids may not have had money In their accounts because of poverty... disgusting behaviour and what a revolting example to set to children.

I can't believe they had already given it to the kids then took it away and tossed it in the garbage. My wife and son work at a school and I guarantee both of them would have paid whatever was needed for that not to happen. To just throw it away is absolutely amazing.

That is disgusting behaviour!

If I worked there, I could not have let that happen.

School was merely teaching the lesson there is no such thing as a free lunch. Good capitalists & libertarians should applaud this & probably suggest the kids do work, like scrubbing toilets & washing floors to earn their keep. Never too young to learn the American Way.

I understand about teaching that nothing is free. But give it to them first and then take it away?!

This action made me so disgusted that I had to share this thread on my "This is So wrong" thread. The staff at that school should be ashamed of themselves.

So if you give the food to the children, you've lost some money?............okay...............so the obvious next thought is to throw it in the bin? Because it doesn't seem so costly then?.....Hmmmmmmmm. I think the staff may not have listened in Social ethics and Accounting class, when they were at school.
