The Chinese are landing a lunar rover next month. I lift a glass to their success.

Exciting for many Chinese people I'm sure. You certainly wouldn't get me up there.
Would you do it if the opportunity presented itself?

Not until they have a Starbucks and a place to find some good Mu Shu.

The preparation would probably kill me anyway.

I'd happily emigrate off-planet, there's a lot of work to be done establishing permanent colonies. It would be a privilege.

Some of us thought you already were off-planet.

That's what you want. That's what you're working for. It appears that to you Negative Attention is better than No Attention. You'd be amazed to know the chorus of FGers probably wouldn't waste the thought.

Thirty seven years since the last lunar landing, finally we have another. The Chinese landing has been successful, I'm delighted. I look forward to following the progress of the rover.

The Chinese haven't yet left low orbit with their manned missions. The lunar lander tests systems they'll need in their approach to establishing a permanent manned lunar station. I think their rate of progress is impressive.
How many people have stood on the moon so far? I may have the count wrong but I make it eight.
It's thirty seven years since anything at all landed on the moon. The Chinese are to be congratulated on making the effort.

Maybe I'm jaded (yuk yuk) but I don't really see why anyone would be amazed by this. China has loads of money and they're merely building on pre-existing technology that was developed by other countries. I do admire the ambition though.
