And that brings us back to my first post in this thread. If I want to post a non sequitur or even a mildly dissenting opinion that might not be worded as intelligently as some may like, I don't need to be insulted and told to leave the thread until I can come up with a better post. Thinking about it such a thread might be a bad idea. The british posters don't really care what foreigners think (NB: to some of the posters america is a foreign country with some similarities to the UK but in others might as well be another planet) and we are i=used to the custom and practice of taking the piss out of each other, words like useless wanker, tosspot, numpty, posh git, fascist bastard etc etc are in common parlance and people don;t really take it personally - it's an anonymous forum don't you know.

On the other hand the temptation to wind up someone who has posted about how ioffended they are by something you have said either disagreeing with them or simply challenging an opinion they hold dear would be - well tempting.
