Hell no.
The only time I see yellow grass is either from bug infestation or after an animal takes a dump on it. The grass does not turn yellow, where I live, just because Autumn arrives.

Yellow grass is caused by frost ... so I guess Jack is to blame.

There is also maintenance required for artificial grass. The rubber granules have to be applied each year to keep it from matting. It is expensive.

usually rubber is not necessary for landscaping grass, while for sport grass, it is vital

In autumn, ideally the grass will be mostly covered with fallen leaves.
