So what do you think of the new dance craze called "Twerking"? Can you even do it? Can you do it and not look afflicted? I tried and ... well, let's just say I need more practice.

I didn't watch the MTV awards last night but I see the news is all abuzz this morning about Miley Cyrus twerking on stage.

Do you like the dance move and find it sexy and fun to watch?

Or do you think it's vulgar, common and overtly sexual?

It's actually not that new.

Jerry Springer regually had ladies on his show years ago who could Twerk far better than that. Usually extremely large black ladies with enormous wobbly booty's. I used to love watching them.

I'll watch the video and practice ready for my next council meeting or The Conservative Christmas function.

I usually enjoy watching people dance, but I watched a clip of Miley Cyrus twerking and I felt uncomfortable when she was bent over backwards in front of the male singer. I guess she was trying for the shock effect. It looks like she's in her rebellious b*tch stage. "I'm not a wholesome teen-ager anymore!". Sally Field and Patty Duke also went through this stage.

I would have enjoyed seeing Miley dance solo with this tune:

Vulgar. I don't like it when dancers grab their crotch either. (it used to be just men and I though it was to adjust their package or prevent themselves from getting hurt in certain moves, but now girls are doing it and I am completely confused by that.)

I'm completely indifferent but it looks like a good workout. I know I don't have the strength to do that .

I just tried It.... It's like doing squats, really painful on the thighs...

Peter's gone for a lie down now and the cats gone out.

I used to do that in the 80's in aerobics. Wouldn't have done it on a dance floor though.

Why not! If I were a young guy I'd find it sexy. Females do that move a lot when on top anyway, or, at lest some of the ones I've had the pleasure of knowing have.

It aint new it aint an invention it's an adaptation and a new name.

In Africa it's called kwasa kwasa.............................could never understand why the musical rythyms have not crossed over too, only Paul Simon came close.

Ummm okay I watched the video and I don't mean to be rude or anything but that's exactly what I do when ...ummm you know.....When I'm on top....you know doing it .....

How come they don't just call it what it is ...The on top position dance? Cause to me she did did a sexual movement.

I wonder if my wife will take offense if a say to her "Twerk me babe, twerk me good."

It may cause bruising, in more than one place.

Not whilst doing aerobics, I had a black and white very bold design leotard :-3 liked it at the time, was also incredibly slim and fit back then :wah:

I had several ra ra skirts, along with peddle pushers, v backed jumpers and those trousers with the crotch at the knees :wah:
