Everybody seems to be in an uproar about the possibility of cloning a human. I think that it could be a good thing. But I understand why some see it as wrong. Or that it could be used improperly.

Personally I think that in 30 or 40 years it'll be commonplace. There'll be on at every mall.

Can you see it? My Great grandson goes in with a hair.

"I just came from Hooters can you clone this for me? Oh, and could you tweek her genome and make her bi-sexual? And twins?"

Now if the family luck is passed on, he'll go back at the end of the day to pick his 2 big, burrly, half-toothed... fry cooks.

Think I agree with all you`ve said, here, it COULD be potentially helpful, there are RISKS of it being misused, and yes, I`m SURE that it will be commonplace within30 years

Clones already exist...they're called "Identical twins"

Cloning brain dead humans would greatly serve the medical community by providing a source of spare parts, skin for grafting, etc.

I believe medical research is in the preliminary stages of just cloning a person's organs so there is a definite match for organ transplant. This differs from stem cell research because they take the cells from the individual and not an embryo or infant cord.
