Laconic History of the World

Someone took the most common word in Wikipedia articles concerning all existing nations and created a map using that word ~~~~~> Laconic History of the World on HUGEpic
Definitely laconic! It reflects a not surprising world history of war, territorial dominance and subjugation. No real eye openers there as far as current & world history. Blur the lines on the map, regress back to older boundaries and established nations at any point in time and I bet the results would be a similarly marked map. I accept that as an unfortunate consequence of human nature but also find it a sadly limited perspective.
