I am astonished !!!

I have a large walk In Airing cupboard that I finally decided to turn out. I found things In there I haven't seen for 7 years...

I took a load to the tip but mentioned to a friend I was back off to the tip with another load of denims and jackets. She was horrified and told me where I could take them and get some cash.

I was a little sceptical but went down there today and came out with £40..

They pay 60 p per kilo denims and jackets bring the most money.

They weighed them and then had a good look to make sure they were not ripped or dirty.

They also take handbags, belts, and shoes.

It all goes out to poor countries.

I didn't know these places existed did you?

Right... now to Mr O's closets :wah:

I used consignment stores in the past - I took my beautiful luxury suits and was suprised with the amount I received

and then took that money & bought a luxury SUV:wah:

consignment stores are not always on the up & up I usually donate to charity.

Patsy I have no desire for a luxury SUV....I might even give the money to my charities and help them.

I am envisioning people from underdeveloped countries walking the streets looking like Oscar. Have these poor people not suffered enough ?

We were poor when I was a young lad and our dad got a lot of our clothes from Army surplus.

One day I went to school dressed as a Japanese General
