Check out this site for some of Christophe Jacrot's beautiful rainy Paris photos. His photography centers around inclement weather in some of the world's beautiful cities and he definitely knows how to bring color to the forefront of an otherwise gray palette. My favorites are the ones where the lens is speckled with raindrops and the resulting effect resembles a painting. Is the lens wet or are the photos taken through a glass window? They remind me of how the world looks through the wet windshield before I turn the wipers on!

Very nice. I rarely consider photography art, but in this case I have to say it is.

Thanks for sharing, tabby. I enjoyed viewing them all. I have lived in Germany, but I've never had the pleasure of visiting France.
