Some of the sounds on their list bother me ... some don't! I can take most of them in small doses but a continuance would likely begin to grate on me after a while.
I would add the radio test emergency sirens to the list. They're awful and once I realize it's "only a test of the emergency broadcast system" I quickly change the station!
What would you add to the list? What noise makes you tighten your jaw and want to escape the source?

I agree with Bruv that a baby crying Is a beautiful sound.
Me ?.... I have a strong aversion to bodily function noises..... snoring, coughing, clearing the throat, sneezing, X Factor contestants murdering songs, A Scottish accent, Welsh accent, Go Compare ads, Wonga.com ads, Mopeds driven at high speed and after two hours non stop, my dogs yapping at a moth pharting two miles away.

I agree about the crying baby, especially in an area you can't get away from the sound. Planes, restaurants, movie theaters... freeze dry the little bastard and add water when you get back home. I don't like the sound of shrilly screaming children when they're playing either, it's worse than nails on a chalkboard. And jet skis when you're trying to enjoy a relaxing day at the lake.

It could be said the cry of a child is part of a learning process.
There are different levels of crying, I would agree the deep sobbing of a child in real distress ranks high.

Maybe not - but I was asked what I found to be the worst sounds in the world and I gave a straightforward answer, for me its the sound of a child in distress or pain and it's the worst sound in the world.
You may have a different answer but I wasn't answering for you.
