Old or new, these bridges are uniquely beautiful. I wonder how many of the "new" ones will last as long as the oldest of the old of them? I just can't see the new ones still being useable in 2000 years.

I'd love to go and see each and every one of those. I have seen one of them, Tower Bridge and have crossed it several times. I've even trecked through London in the middle of the night to get to see it open and allow a cruise ship through.

You know what always arouses my curiosity? Little windows where they shouldn't be. Little windows mean there's a little room. What's it for? How do you get in?
