I would almost agree with this list in its entirety. Very little to argue with there other than maybe "selling England by the pound" rather than "seconds out"

Near perfect

Ask me again in a day or two and the list might be slightly different "WYWH" rather than the wall. Led Zep II rather than IV. Some Black Sabbath. There would be some modern stuff too

But Mike's list will do me for now

Are they based on sales figures JJ ?

I have to totally disagree....

I thing Exile on Main Street was one of the worst the Stones released.

The best album In my humble opinion was ' Milestones' by The Rolling Stones, 1972

Side one

"(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"

"She's a Rainbow" (With intro)

"Under My Thumb"

"I Just Want to Make Love to You" (Willie Dixon)

"Yesterday's Papers"

"I Wanna Be Your Man" (John Lennon/Paul McCartney)

Side two

"Time Is on My Side" (Norman Meade) (True stereo)

"Get off of My Cloud"

"Not Fade Away" (Norman Petty/Charles Hardin)

"Out of Time"

"She Said Yeah" (Rody Jackson/Sonny Christy) (Fake stereo)

"Stray Cat Blues"

Such things are always so subjective.

I would pick Let It Bleed as my top Stones Album, and Miles Davis would be on my top ten, as would "Big Pink"

Yes! that is a good one!

What about Janis Joplin ~ sadly it wasn't until after her death her most popular album was released and it was a collection of her songs.

Does that count?
