Ladycop Linda died very recently Jones Jones from cancer. She was my internet buddy who despite her own illness always wrote to ask how i was.
I think Oscar communicates with Rapunzel and Valerie on Facebook and i still talk to Nomad there also. I think i've see Valerie and Cars here lately but i agree, i also wish they'd return here.

Facebook has it's benefits for sure but i'm sure it wasn't that. I'm not much help i'm afraid but my wife Oscar could possibly know more than me. Maybe it was other forums that enticed them.?

That list could go on and on. Members leave for a number of reasons. Yes some of them as a result of what goes on here but overwhelmingly, people move on. Some unfortunately disappear off the face of the earth, without us ever knowing why.
I've been absent twice myself since first joining in early 2005. First time, I returned with a new username, then a couple of years ago, my pc went haywire and I didn't replace it for some time.

But why do Carolly, PatsyWarwick, Abbey and others play games in the Arcade and never post ? Friends Of Carol thread used to be so awesome ...

I've no idea but for some, they find other interests, lack of time, change of circumstance, they drift away. The dynamic of this place changes from time to time and may not suit some as it does others.

Oh Carolly ... The "Friends of Carol" ... FOC ... started by GGill so many years ago was one of the highlites of FG. I now know what happened and caused you to stop posting here but I so wish it wasn't so!
I have tried to pm you but as you know you aren't accepting private mesaages.
Anyway honey ... you have an awesome voice which is far far better than many of today's so called stars!

I used to talk to Carol on the phone but haven't heard from her lately.... I miss her too.

yes.. back again.. like that zit that keep re-appearing....
when a lot if fighting start up in a forum.. I look around.
but it happens a lot.. I have seen forums implode with in-fighting.
