[FONT=Georgia]Know how you can put up with all sorts of disappointments, hardships, etc, but one tiny thing just grates.

I simply CANNOT bear hearing the eighth letter of the alphabet pronounced as "Haitch"

I just want to scream, `look up the correct pronounciation, it`s AITCH :-5 :-5 :-5

Oh, and I meant to add, the other thing is hearing people incorrectly say BORED OF instead of the correct term BORED WITH!!!

And for that matter, saying SHOULD OF instead of SHOULD HAVE!!!!!

Wooooooooo......Someone's got it on him today!

oh, AND hearing naff phrases like "Woooooooo......." (JOKE, JOKE, JOKE!)!!!

What about schedule pronounced with 'sh' instead of 'sc', or q-pon (coupon)?

John I could do a whole page on the split infinitive, you even hear it on radio 4 nowadays, a disgrace.

John I think the should of is really a lazy mans should have, kind of a should av.

Sorry some folks tend to drop the H in their vocab for no apparent reason.
