Kafka's Metamorphasis

To my shame (or not), my introduction to this work of art was Cronenberg's Naked Lunch, wherein the following exchange takes place:
"It's a very literary high"
"What do you mean?"
"It's a Kafka high... it makes you feel like a bug."
(Joan Cusack is one of the sexiest women on the planet, imo)
I then read the short story by Kafka and spent the next 24 hours thinking "wtf?" "that was the stupidest thing I've ever read." Then, suddenly, I thought "omg" "how do I contain how brilliant that was?"
Some times you feel like a bug, sometimes you don't.
"I'm on bug powder. I don't need to come."
