I have visited England every now and then, and the chav subculture is so incredibly annoying!

They harrass everyone all the time. They mutilate the English language and they can't even write properly! They cuss all the time! They commit all sorts of evil crimes! Their fashion sense is HORRIBLE!

In short, the chavs are irredeemably uncivilised!

The UK government should round up these savages and put them in concentration camps! Nothing less than torture and euthanasia will solve this problem!!!

That's really unfair....

Most youngsters wear the trainers, the hoodie and the cap just for the fact It happens to be the fashion with teenagers.... even my husband wears a hoodie and the local police Inspector once told me his son wears a hoodie... It doesn't make them chavs or yobs... that's determined by their behaviour. Unless they shop at 'George' In Asda a lot of those trainers and hoodies are designer and cost a small fortune.

We see a lot of them in 'burbs here in the states. Just never knew they had a name.

I would say very much working class....with not always the work bit.

OK working class, though it seems that they need a lot of disposable income and free time to act that way.

I guess if their parents are doing the work, then they can get away with it.
