Any one have a Laser Hair Removal?

There are a couple of home use products - NO NO Laser and Tria Laser.

I've received a Tria Laser as a gift - I haven't used it yet.

Small print states - do not use on face..?

Women will use this on the face - we're tired of plucking.

Laser has low to high frequency levels.

So, would a low frequency be safe for the face?

I suppose I'll need to call the company & inquire.

Any Users out there..? Do you want a Laser Hair Removal?

I've not used them myself.... I prefer to use my husbands razor... no beneficial reasons, It just annoys the hell out of him...

However, my Turkish pal tried the whole gambit of home laser treatments.. Turkish women tend to have thicker hair than UK women so that's to be taken Into consideration but none worked for her... she found that you have to use them so repeatedly that she was better off just waxing.... In the end, she paid to have treatment by a proffessional salon which took a year of regular visits to completely remove hair from her legs.... also bearing In mind, the home treatments are no-where near the spec of a proffessional salon.

If I can't remove facial hair I don't want it.. I'm tooooo old to worry about my legs.:wah:

I'm well invested in Razors & they work fine on my legs at this stage.

This particular Laser I've seen demostrated on my Local News - comparing different brands - Tria was the best & the must have.. At that time - nothing was mentioned "Do Not Use on the Face..?

Maybe it's OK on Low voltage.?

The home kits really are no more than hair management and It would take endless applications and even then, they don't have the strength to completely remove the hair folicle ... that's why the proffessional salons are more successful because they have higher grade equipment... even then, like my friend, It took a year of monthly treatments before the hair didn't grow back at all...

Being dark myself, I also get a upper lip shadow which I wax once a month.

I want my Facial Hair gone..!

I tried Electrolysis at the highest voltage - went for over a year - did not work.

I've waxed - I've cried - I've waxed - I've cried...!:wah:

Women will use these Lasers on their face - I'm scared to try.

I suppose I'll call the Company & discuss Face or No Face..?

Thanks Along - I did visit the "No No" site you provided - that laser runs different than mine ( Tria ) with basically the same results.

I also looked up my Tria Laser - still no recommendations for facial hair removal.

I wish these sites would post comments of the Good - Bad & Ugly results.

The Tria is endorsed by Kim Kardashian - not sure if that's good or bad.?

So, I don't know ?

Kim Kardashian can afford salon treatments. She's not using this contraption herself .

I don't care nor did I state Kim's financial status.

Video - Kim states she uses this product for her home use - Bikini area

since she's not comfortable at a salon for a bikini wax etc..

I don't care if she uses this product or not.

I'm actually looking for feed back from any one who have had experience with a home Laser product - Rich or Poor can reply.

I read an ongoing report from a Tria user who wanted to share her findings. She was very impressed but it doesn't stop the hair from growing back, it just reduces it. Plus you have to be a good candidate, meaning dark hair, light skin.

Oh, I also looked into "No No" and they burn the hair off. It's in the same category as the "one touch" type things that are sandpaper on a stick.

Patsy, have you tried a facial hair removal cream ? Apparently the hair comes back weaker each time.

I googled Tria Laser for the good - bad & ugly.

I think I'll send the laser back. I was soooooo looking forward to the benefits the laser was to provide. I'm soooooo disappointed.

Oscar - yes, I've tried creams - I've tried everything out there. Thanks.

I was trying to avoid the expense of a Salon - since they told me I'd need 10 - 15 treatments on my face. And that's not a possibility.
