Just a rabbit hole - poetry or prose?

Welcome, welcome.
Don't worry about your shoes.
I have a little story to tell you. Have a seat.
I fell down a rabbit hole. Yesterday, about two.
The rabbit had left long ago.
It appeared there had been many visitors since then.
All writing their names upon the wall.
"Jacob was here"
"Lucy was here"
"Frank was not here"
Very clever.
Clever to have found the rabbit hole, I suppose.
But, what did they DO there?
They wrote their names...
For posterity
longevity
Perhaps one second of fame.
Then I turned and left.
I did not write my name.
Who am I to desecrate a rabbit's hole?
For that is all that it was.
Don't worry about your shoes.
I have a little story to tell you. Have a seat.
