Succumbing to speculation

Post by rajakrsna »

I'm clear about the stance that there are many distractions ("matter", "powers", "entities") on the yoga path. For discussion purposes, I'm mostly just interested in the "intellectual" topics that usually dismissed as exactly that. So, that said, here are some questions for those who have the time or interest.

If a Day of Brahma ends and not everyone has attained liberation, then where do the non-liberated (not to mention animals, vegetables, and minerals) go when the universe is non-manifest?

If there is an evil entity and he/she/it fashions a body for itself, repents, and meditates twice daily and attains liberation, who keeps everyone else in delusion and ignorance?

If ETs exist, then are they taking up real estate on planets that are better off inhabited at a future date by Kriyabans such as SRFers who meditate twice a day (according to the local planetary schedule) to attain liberation for another soul?

Being retired, I have the time and interest in certain intellectual pursuits, however, how can I personally benefit from further study of these things that seem to occupy much of your thinking?

It will occupy much of your thinking when death is near.

Perhaps in your yogic speculation you might consider "Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism" by Chogyam Trungpa
