County Health Rankings

Anyone living in the USA can check this site to find where your county or city ranks health wise in the state. My county of Amelia ranked 82 in Virginia out of 125 locations. It could be better but it could be worse too, I suppose. The top 3 healthiest places in the state are Fairfax, Arlington & Loudoun which are wealthy counties and heavily populated by people who work in Washington DC. I think Dick Cheney had his recent heart transplant at a Fairfax hospital. I'm curious if anyone will be surprised at their ranking!

Placer County ------ 4 out of 56 No wonder I feel better having moved from #45 out of 56 ten years ago. :wah:

Of course we have no hospital or significant medical center so everyone goes down to Denver (59 out of 64 with 59 reporting) to die.
