This Is a poem written by a British Citizen.

It has become the subject of complaint by Khalid Mahmood (Lab Perry Barr) who said he was furious after a draft copy of a report, commissioned by Birmingham City Council, contained poems Including this one.

Here's the poem: Now without googling, what sort of person do you think wrote this ?

From Handsworth Cemetery.

From Handsworth Cemetery his parents see

The population change from Black and White

And seem to ask him what this place would be

Should he go out and up not looking back.

These people take the homes, the clubs the shops

And vote their man Into their council seat

But how can selling fruit and veg or knitted tops

Afford them flashy Mercs. We know they cheat.

We were here first. This Is our place

We fought for all those equal laws which they now use

Where Is our share? Where are the jobs they ought to give our kids?

But No, these people choose to spend the funds and profit on their gold

And flights to where they'll die when they get old.

I don't normally get this deep so early in the evening.

Afro Caribbean probably. Black/asian racism is far worse than white/black you still get the blacks are an inferior race argument, mind you i know a few indian/pakistani asians that think that of white people. Paki bashing was often black on - well pakis. Hundu wouldn't work with muslim because they were generally inferior castes that were attracted to it. Nigerians looked down on everybody. Racism is not a purely white european phenomenon.

You are spot on gmc.... The author Is Afro/Caribbean and his poem Is about Muslims.

It was written after the Birmingham riots.

OK i cheated slightly and looked it up to make sure I was right.

Nick griffin is himself the child of immigrants and now one of the colonial elite living in wales on land taken from the indigenous peoples - it's safe to assume they didn't say they didn't hand the country over willingly. When he leaves wales and gives his property back to the welsh I'll maybe start taking him seriously when he prattles on about the rights of indigenous britons.

The BNP message and website Is out-dated. Griffin had long since changed his tune from English to ' Indigenous European' as criteria. He just forgot to tell the people who write for him.
