if you've read my 'scared' thread, you know i was going to see the neurosurgeon today, with great fear and trepidation. well i have just come from there, and he said the aneurysm is so tiny it requires NO SURGICAL INTERVENTION!! and that the hospital doc who told me it would is a bigger quack than donald duck! i have been living in mortal terror! for no reason! OMG i am so relieved! it's like a miracle! :yh_party :yh_dance :yh_angel :yh_bigsmi oh i hope i see that doctor who terrified me for weeks robbing the 7-11 or something some day!! ~~~~~~~~i came home to call Bothwell and family members, i have to go back out, will see you all later! xoxoxox joy!!

As I understand it the consultation went something like this.



LC kicks open the medics door accompanied by her two advisors, Mr Smith and Mr Wesson and invites the doc to discuss her condition. Being a doctor he knows what is good for his health and tells LC there is nothing to worry about. LC then leaves to return to previous doctor with a view to discussing his competence in a full and frank manner, first doctor is now looking for effective treatment to remove stethescope from a certain part of his anatomy



Actually I spoke to LC and it's great news, first doc scared her half to death as he would have anyone.

It's all to do with that mystical thing called "Bed-side manner" Some of them have most of them don't.

What did I tell you LC. The worst part is from diagnosis to seeing the specialist!!! Glad your specialist said "no problem" for you!!!! That waiting game is HORRIBLE!!!! They knew, at my cancer diagnosis, that I was early stage - but NOOOOOO - they couldn't tell me that - I had to wait to see the specialist. Two weeks of sheer terror. Bastardos for putting me through that!

Great news, lc!

i am extremely thankful for the good wishes from our FG family. every single person! the strangest thing happened, after i got home and let my loved ones know i just collapsed in a heap, i did not realize how much tension and terror had built up, when it was suddenly gone. i couldn't really take it in. i am used to being able to meet bad situations head-on, but not this one. i'd rather meet a gun in a dark alley than this nebulous fear again. but OMG my brain is not going to implode and THANK ALL OF YOU KIND PEOPLE!! xoxoxox.........oh, doctor number one will be needing a surgical-instrument-anal-ectomy. so sad.
