Need some support from you guys! (Rant)

Well, the long and involved process of packing up my
father's household for his move to Idaho is over.I went up
yesterday to help with the last day's worth of stuff.
At one point, my Dad asked me to keep Bandit in the house
while he went to do something. Normally, he can put Bandit
in a sit, stay and leave and Bandit is fine, but recent
weeks have made Bandit anxious. So I tried to keep Bandit
confined to the living room, since my bro-in-law was
mopping floors with a strong bleach solution. My tyrant of
a younger sister who thinks she knows everything comes up
with "Let Bandit go he's okay" and I guess I just went off.
I first tried a pretty low-key "I'm trying to keep him off
the wet floors" but it didn't work it was "Oh it's not
going to hurt him" I sort of yelled "They can absorb that
stuff through the pads of their feet" but she wasn't buying
it. So then I started (I've had months of pent-up
frustration over my sister's bs) letting fly, and said a lot
of things that I'm not sorry for, including the "f" word
at one point. I probably should have known better, this is
a woman who doesn't allow dogs in HER house and feeds Ol'
Roy because it's the cheapest and all that a dog deserves.
She did come and apologize to me later, I think she was
sincere but she didn't say anything about the bleach part
of it. I think really she was just sorry she couldn't
"Control" me and surprised by my outburst. I let things go
so as not to upset my dad.
Thanks for listening.
