Wikipedia Going Offline In A Day Of Protest

Anyone with kids, warn them to get their homework done tonight. Wednesday will get no results for wikipedia online. In protest against SOPA, otherwise known as the internet censorship law, Wikipedia and Reddit are coordinating blackouts on Jan 18.

Anonymous (the hacker group) offered to suspend all activity at the same time. Presumably to show that it's not them blacking out the sites. So it's an anti-action action. :P
