What would forums be without him or her?

After all, we all need someone to knock down :wah:

Phew! I thought for a moment I'd been copped on to.

....oh bum...:wah:

What would we do without them? Be a lot less challenged in our opinions.

It's the need to think how best to prove him wrong that improves your own understanding of the issues and makes your opinion more worthwhile - long may he challenge us (still annoys the hell out of me though).

Interesting. It's also a perfect description of the Daily Mail's readership.

By co-Incidence my brother and I have a game called best comment.

We've done It for a few years now and we both get really competitive.

The game Is ( using a user name ) to get the most outrageous comment printed on a news Item In the Daily Mail and get the most readers green arrows ( likes comment ) or red arrows ( dislikes comment ).

It's not an easy game for your comment Is subject to tabloid authorisation before It's printed so your comment may not even appear. When we write our comments, they have to be different from what's already been printed or they won't appear and what we write is not always what we think about the news Item.... the whole Idea Is to get It printed and get green or red arrows.

By co-Incidence, I wrote a strong comment yesterday because the gay man who doesn't want to pay for his daughters and another on a story about people being evicted by the council.

When I checked late last night, the council comment had 5 green arrows ( my personal best Is 1800 or so green arrows ) but I was delighted to see my comment about the gay man had just under 1,000 red arrows which again Is a personal best.

I win this weeks challenge :driving::driving::wah::wah:

I'm glad it's not just me! Is there anyone who makes the decision to watch the ads? I'm actually surprised we're given an option to skip them!
