Ken Russell, RIP

Britain's produced many wonderful film directors but Ken Russell's output was particularly memorable. I mentioned him a while ago:

As for his feature films, none could be called an artistic failure. We were privileged to have had his talent. Other than Kubrick he was as good as it gets over here.
