Anybody else seen this commercial for Coke? Starts with a guy in a lab coat with a can of Coke and a whole lime, then he starts singing a song about mixing them both together. It's a catchy tune and after I figured out the words, sing it all the time......one of those songs you can't get out of your head. "You put the lime in the coke, you nut and drink em both together. Put the lime in the coke, you nut, make you feel better". Dorky, I know, I'm easily entertained. Also, the way its sang makes it sound like the first line is, "you put the lime in the coconut......." . Who comes up with these things?



Anybody else have any favorite commercials out right now?

It's an old song from the 70's and it's kind of funny the way they changed it, here are original lyrics.

No, but I really HATE the one where the spoilt little brat is wheeled round in a trolley (whilst wearing shoes!) telling his poor mum that he "doesn`t like vegetables, doesn`t like meat, etc. and HE WANTS......." Really!!!

I like the gravey train comercial to the tune of Ozzy's Crazy Train.

Have not tried the Lime in the Cola. Doubt that I would like it but I also expected Vanalla Coke to be a dud and I sort of like it once in a while.

Good point, I look at it as compliment to our generation when they drag out old songs or styles. Our generation looked back to the 50's for our inspiration.
