Just like the tortoise

Retracting into its armor

I seek protection,

From your offensive ways.

Much akin to the coiled snake

Resting in the shade of the elm

I will bide my time;

Then hiss out and strike you down.

An ape rises,

Scratches his arm pit

Sniffs the breeze

Snorts, stares

and leaves.
