This is just getting silly. Three in one day, all from the pinnacle of their arts?

For some people Bert Jansch defined a large aspect of their experience of the 1960s particularly through the folk-jazz Pentangle. Any attempt at listing those he influenced musically would be long-winded. The albums and recordings he's left are definitive.

I spent the weekend at a festival in Banbury and Pentangle were one of the headline acts - the loss was much mourned by all those who knew him.
