Thankfully it was only a tiny engine plane. News reports say small plane as landed saftly on the ground. and the capital and the whitehouse are clear for people to go back in.

When I was with my child's orthopedist, I had turned off the tv, ingnored my cell phone alerts. But when I turned it on, I expected to hear about that scum in Illinios . Imagine my surprise. I had a breif flashback of 9/11. People running every where , news alert like all in red like Fox does. Thank god it turned out to be a stray. so far. as of 12:47 pm on the east Coast.

Person who flew the plane now in custody(but not under arrested) by Maryland state police. Congress back in session. News reports also say that the supreme court was also evacuated .

When they broke in with the report of an airplane near the White House, my heart dropped. I immediately thought of 9/11. They never did say why they wouldn't answer air control. I'd like to know if their radio even worked or not.
